This oversize load was a Formula 40 Powerboat and it was throwing rocks off the stripped roadway on I-91 North in Rocky Hill, Connecticut.  This is one of the hazards of driving a pilot car.  This is the reason we need to replace our windshields and polish our headlights at least once a year.
